REGISTRATION OPEN ON NOVEMBER 1, 2024

Click on this link from November 1 to register on PlayHQ

Here is a link to a step by step instruction on 'How To Register' provided by the EFNL

NOTES:-

  • It is recommended that players are registered under the parent/guardian’s name.  This enables the parent/guardian to then register dependents under that email.

  • It is also hoped that parent/guardian’s will register themselves as volunteers at the same time, as this will help out with game day duties [eg goal umpire, umpire escort, runner, trainer etc ] enabling Team Managers putting names on team sheets [more information on creating Team Sheets will happen in February]

  • Please download the PlayAFL app – this app gives you access to all the fixtures, ladders and results.

  • Please be advised that PlayHQ have PayPal4 – part payments available.

  • The club will be looking at running a couple of registration days incorporating some footy clinics in November and early February to ensure everyone has been able to register.

  • Who runs the Jets Auskick program?
The Jets Juniors Football Club helps support two Auskick facilities. All our Auskick sessions are run by parents and volunteers. The NAB AFL Auskick program provides training materials and support for the clubs. The kids love seeing their parents help run the training drills and games. It gives parents a great introduction into junior football and being part of their children's development.
  • Where are the Jets Auskick centres located?
The Jets support two Auskick centres out of Heatherdale Reserve in Mitcham and HE Parker Reserve in Heathmont.
  • What ages can participate?
Children can start playing NAB AFL Auskick in the year that they turn 5. Most children remain until they turn 8 where they can progress into the Jets Junior Football Club who run teams in U8's for boys and U10's for girls.
  • What are the format of the sessions?
Each session will start with the players divided up into ability groups. There will be football skills taught and games to encourage participation. Later in the sessions a modified game may take place where the players can demonstrate their new skills.
  • Are there opportunities to play at AFL games at half time?
You have the opportunity of ticking this option when you register your child. Other opportunities to play at local league games are also available.
  • How much does it cost?
The 2025 fees are $95 per player for the entire program.
  • When does it start?
The Auskick program runs from May 3rd to the end of June 28th. Each session at HE Parker starts at 9am and runs for approximately 1 hour on a Saturday. Sessions at Heatherdale will be start at 5pm and run to 6pm on a Friday night.
