Much anticipation for the local derby. There was a few smiles & giggles out on the ground as quite a lot of the girls either go to school together or play netball together.
Our first game at home & the girls were excited to be on their home ground.
The girls jumped out of the blocks quickly & led at every change. The defensive running was a lot better throught this game & we even managed to get some stoppage set-ups happening & won our share of the clearances. Lots of link-up play. Our ability to steady when we took a mark or received a free kick, & actually seek a team mate by foot was excellent & a true sign of their development.
